Sorry About The Mess is a new animated project created by the Australian comedian Cassie Workman. The show is set to be animated by studio Princess Bento. Princess bento are most well known for their work on Michael Cusack’s shows: Koala Man, YOLO, and Smiling Friends. The studio is a collaboration between American studio Bento Box and the Australian Princess Pictures.
The reason for why they have decided to crowdfund this show is so they can make sorry about the mess without waiting for a buyer and the eventual hardships that comes with that. Despite the fact that Princess Bento usually make shows via traditional funding methods, selling a show, for this the themes seemingly didn’t fit their usual buyers.
The creator, Cassie is established in Australia as a trans comedian. She has at least been working on the show for 5 years. She is a writer, comedian, musician, and actor. An especially noteworthy inclusion is the Lilly Wachowski who is working as an executive producer. Lilly is most known as one of the directors for The Matrix. She herself is also trans.

They have released a trailer containing 3 minutes of footage as well as a summary of what the show is gonna be about. The show is about Alice Peril, a young adult in a punk-band who just came out as a trans woman. Seemingly everyone hates her for this. Her mother rejects her, her girlfriend leaves her, and she don’t know what to do.
In-between everything else in her life she also learns that she got magical healing powers and meet a giant bat who tells her about the incoming apocalypse only she can stop.
Fitting with the punk esthetic the show has already released a couple songs on their YouTube channel.
