Hi and welcome to Indiespam!
As our name implies we are here to “spam” everything you need surrounding independent animation.
Our goal is to showcase indie animators as well as their projects so that you can find the hidden gems you might have missed otherwise.
We also review some bigger indie projects. Projects that technically are indie productions or at least are refered to as such, think Glitch or Spindelhorse/Spindelroo. We are more inclined to look at critically at something like those than small pilots made by one person. We mainly aim to showcase smaller artists and don’t want to stomp on any toes. We don’t want to be too critical to someone who made a pilot with no funding and no support over a years time cause that isn’t the point. We are more likely to not cover art we otherwise wouldn’t support.
We also intend to share methods to make your own independent productions/projects. Guides to what software you can use, how to grow an audience, and other stuff like that.
